Should you text or should you write a love note?

I would say that it is completely up to you. Texting is easier, and you could do it at any point of the day. It doesn’t require you to see him beforehand or prepare anything in advance.

As a paper lover, I am more a fan of love notes, but they need some preparation. You want to write it on a piece of paper and hide it somewhere, so he finds it when you aren’t around. 

If you decide to do that, here are some examples of places to hide your love note to your boyfriend:

• In his jacket;
• Stick it on the top of his lunch box
• Alternatively, wrap in foil and place on top of his food (of course, if it’s a soup, that would be a terrible idea, but works great for a sandwich)
• In his wallet (make sure you are both okay with you touching his wallet)
• On his pillow 
• On the back of his phone case
• Anywhere in his car 
• On the bathroom mirror (red lipstick is a great choice)
• On the shower door (red lipstick still does the job nicely)
• On the first page of his planner
• In his briefcase
• On the screen of his laptop or computer
• Anywhere he could actually see it (make it appropriately private, though)
