When I was a little girl, I had a dream to grow up and get paid for reading books.
When I was a little girl, I had a dream to become a writer.
When I was a bigger girl, I had a dream to meet someone special and to live happily ever after together.
When I was a little girl, I didn’t know that some dreams might never become true…
When I grew up, I found out that it’s hard to follow your dreams…
So I decided to follow the rules.
For almost ten years I worked in a bank, sitting behind a desk and talking to people about how to save money and how to pay off loans and credit cards.
I was still looking for the perfect match. Someone who would save me from my small world and both of us would have our “happily ever after”.
When I was an adult, I trusted people way too fast. I blindly followed their advice and never asked myself if it was right.
When I was an adult, I rushed into the wrong jobs and decided to create relationships with the wrong men.
And that had its consequences.
When I was an adult, my heart was broken in the most painful for a woman way. I lost someone I always wanted to have… I lost my pride; I lost my self-esteem, I lost myself.
And I almost lost my life.
Then, the miracle happened.
I had only two choices – to finish everything or to start something.
I chose the second one.
That was the moment I decided to forget what other people want from me and what other people need from me.
That was the time to start loving myself. For the first time in my life…
And almost immediately after I made this choice… everything came into its place.
From a confused and selfless young woman, I became a Defender of Myself.
I met someone who loves it.
Someone who loves the strength in me. Someone who cherishes the woman in me. Someone who loves my changes and most importantly – believes in my dreams.
When I was a little girl, I had a dream to read all day and to get paid for that. I am currently doing exactly that with my website.
When I was a little girl, I had a dream to be a writer… I write almost every day posts, guides and already released a small financial self-help book.
When I was a bigger girl, I didn’t know that “happily ever after” is hard everyday-work to show love, care and support. But I like to believe I am in our happily ever after with my fiancee.
Welcome to my dream… my name is Rachel.
