This year, I’ve got some awesome ideas for creating the most perfect and merriest Christmas Eve box for couples that will keep the holiday spirit floating around for longer.

What is a Christmas Eve Box for Couples?
This is a box you create for you and your loved one to open and use on Christmas Eve or shortly after. The box contains little surprises and gifts, usually complementing each other to create a joyful experience for you two.
What I love about the Christmas Eve boxes is that even if I’d put everything inside myself, I still get super excited when the time to use it comes.
There are countless ideas on what to put in a Christmas box for couples, but today I’ve decided to group some of them and create themed Christmas Eve boxes for adults and couples. The three themes I am going for are

Merry Movie Night Christmas Eve Box
This box for couples has to include everything you and your other half would need for a cozy and very special movie night.
The Movie
You want to pick the movie beforehand as you wouldn’t want to spend half an hour arguing which one of the hundreds of Christmas movies you’d like to enjoy. You could either add the DVD to the box or just a simple note with the movie’s name.
The Subscription
Alternatively, you could switch the DVD with a new subscription to either Netflix or Amazon Prime Video and watch the first movie together. This would make the occasion even more special.
The Mood
Setting up the right mood for the evening is more important than any other little thing you’d add to the box. There are a few ways to make sure you are totally ruling the Christmas Eve vibe.

The drinks
Drinks are your choice. You could go for the classic hot chocolate (and add some small rum bottles, you know why) or straight approach the matter with a beautiful bottle of wine and glasses for the occasion. Whatever your choice, make sure you add whipped cream to the box; there is more than one way you could use that (yes, it could also go well with the hot …chocolate?).
The Snacks
We all love chewing something unhealthy and mouth-watering while watching a Christmas movie. Here are a few great options for you to consider.
- Nuts – they go well with almost every drink you choose to go into the Christmas box.
- Cookies – these are perfect for the hot chocolate and go well with some of your favortie tea selections (if that was your drink option)
- Popcorn – these go in pair with absolutely every movie made ever on this planet, so I shouldn’t even mention it here, but here you go.
- Snack box – you could always go big and admit you are both snacking monsters, so just make your life easier and order a huge snack box that will keep you busy not just on Christmas Eve but the next few

Jolly Game Night Christmas Eve Box For Adults
This one here is an excellent idea even if you spend the Christmas evening with friends or other family members. Of course, you could always make that one in a naughty version, but for the sake of the holiday spirit, I will keep things under control here.
The Preparation
The preparation is getting some soft and cozy floor cushions you will sit on while playing the games. Those will stay in use for the time being, and you will be happy you invested in them. However, for Christmas evening, floor cushions make everything so special and just extra magical.
